On Workout Gear…

Nike Pegasus+ 30 Shield

I first started going to the gym in college, and have made being active one of the top priorities in my life. I love the outdoors, and you can usually catch me out running on the weekends.

That’s not to say, however, that I’ve built an impressive workout wardrobe. It’s actually quite the opposite. In college I went to the gym in pajamas-like raggedy old t-shirts. Then I started mixing in some of my mom’s old tennis clothes. I began to notice the difference that clothes made for exercising make; but it still wasn’t until recently that I started investing in quality pieces that will help me stay comfortable while working a sweat. Above are a pair of Nikes I purchased along with a few other items (holiday promotions are really getting me).

Cute workout clothes are also good motivation.  So if you feel like you’re in a rut, give those workout clothes an update, get out there, and get good use out of them!

xoxo

About Too Poor for Couture

A girl who loves fashion enough to slave away in the industry. For fun, for hobby, for inspiration, but definitely not for money (unfortunately). I don't study fashion like it's the bible nor do I know everything about it. Fashion should be fun, expressive, and effortless. Too Poor for Couture is my chronicle of fashion related thoughts, news, outfits, and randoms of a normal girl on a normal budget working un-glamorously through the fashion industry.
