Holiday Party

~*Erin X Wasson dress, Aqua faux fur coat, Miss Sixty heels*~

Sippity sip and fiesta fiesta @ my first holiday party with the new company held @ La Fonda. It was a good way to end the week, because the beginning did NOT go well. It sucked when the first thing that happened when I came back from vacay was getting called in to have a serious conversation about something that I wasn’t even aware I was responsible for. Of course there was nothing I could do when it’s me VS. the manager. Lesson learned the hard way – protect your own ass because no one is going to speak up for you when something goes wrong.

Work woes aside…damn, people get trashed at company parties! Fun to see coworkers get loose! My Erin Wasson X RVCA dress was purchased at 70% off at Opening Ceremony. I need to know when they’ll have the next one because that’s the only time I can even dare window shop at that store.

About Too Poor for Couture

A girl who loves fashion enough to slave away in the industry. For fun, for hobby, for inspiration, but definitely not for money (unfortunately). I don't study fashion like it's the bible nor do I know everything about it. Fashion should be fun, expressive, and effortless. Too Poor for Couture is my chronicle of fashion related thoughts, news, outfits, and randoms of a normal girl on a normal budget working un-glamorously through the fashion industry.
