Away Back Home

Needed to unwind and made a trip home up north this weekend. Very relaxing and did more shopping than I really should’ve. Can’t blame me when places like Barney’s has extra 50% off their sale items, right? It looks like I put a neon green badge on myself, but it was actually my purse that started hurting my shoulder since I put too much crap in it so I decided to carry it like a messenger bag.

I love walking around back home; it’s definitely something that’s not easily done in L.A. without inhaling too much pollution. It’s amazing how different the air feels when you get away from the city. I also did a little 5K run for Lance Armstrong’s charity! Sometimes the L.A. craziness just gets to you, and being home definitely gave me some room to breath.

About Too Poor for Couture

A girl who loves fashion enough to slave away in the industry. For fun, for hobby, for inspiration, but definitely not for money (unfortunately). I don't study fashion like it's the bible nor do I know everything about it. Fashion should be fun, expressive, and effortless. Too Poor for Couture is my chronicle of fashion related thoughts, news, outfits, and randoms of a normal girl on a normal budget working un-glamorously through the fashion industry.
