Oops – repeat offender with this trench from the last post. What can I say – it’s just that functional. Layered a hella old tunic from Taiwan with a dress. Going sleeveless – summer finally feels here.

Well this is sad. I’ve wanted these CE pants forever, and patiently waited for them to go on sale. Finally got it on sale, wore it for a day, but ended up returning them because the Too Poor for Couture in me couldn’t justify the price even at 40% off. So here you go – the one time only I had these pants on and the outfit I put together.

Fresh off of my last post with the Sunner ponte jacket with leather sleeves, I found more goodies with leather sleeves! Don’t get me wrong, I love good quality and the likes of high fashion – but being TPFC, I always like to do the research and share with my readers cheaper alternatives!

I feel incredibly lucky to have kind friends who work in different areas of the industry. Not only do I draw inspiration and learn from them, I also receive awesome gifts from time to time! Today I wore this cool Sunner blazer with leather sleeves which I paired with leather shorts; both given by industry friends. Not only that, I also received the latest neon nail colors from another friend who works in cosmetics. Thank you M., Y., D., and all who have been so generous and added more material on TPFC!

Wore my new skull shorts today – but didn’t pair them with the right apparel to show off the skulls so I’m posting pictures here. Found them on a site I’ve been obsessed with lately – Gypsy Warrior. They got some really cute things and of course, at TPFC approved price points!

TPFC Item: skull printed scarf $17
The skull scarf craze started with Thomas Wylde years ago – but let’s be real – I’m never gonna spend $200 on a scarf. There’s been a plethora of knock offs and variations of the skull scarf since, I even found an almost identical knockoff for a mere $3 in Taiwan and still use it years later.
Thomas Wylde and his skull makings are not as popular anymore, but my skull obsession ceases to fade. I was ecstatic when I came upon this one in a random boutique for $17! I love the versatility too – use it as a scarf, headband, belt, play tug-a-war with it… at that price I’m considering getting more colors!
